Riverside Kominka

The house sits directly on the river. You can hear the water from every room.

There's a small dock where you can sit with your feet in the water. We keep fishing rods in the closet; the trout bite best early morning. The outdoor shower is fed by the river - cold, but perfect after a hot day.

The kitchen has a large table that seats six. We recommend buying local Shinshu beef and cooking it on the stone grill over the hearth.
