Mugi Fields Cottage
This cottage sits at the edge of a working barley farm. In June, the fields turn gold.
The veranda faces east - perfect for breakfast with the morning sun. The irori hearth in the main room is functional; guests use it to grill mochi in winter. We keep bicycles in the shed for exploring the farm roads.
Yuki, the neighboring farmer, keeps chickens. Her eggs are available most mornings if you walk over before 8am.
