Mountain View Cabin

We built a glass-walled extension onto a 100-year-old farmhouse. The old part has the kitchen and bath; the new part has a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the mountains.

There's a proper desk and chair. Wi-Fi is rural speed - video calls work, but don't plan on gaming. The mobile signal is weak; we provide a Wi-Fi calling setup.

The location is near Shirakawa-go but outside the tourist zone. You get the same mountain views without the bus parking lots.
